Community Efforts

UrbanCraft is proud to partner with the Zina Garrison Academy. David Black is on the board of this relevant and essential program and UrbanCraft has been a sponsor for ZGA and it’s events.

The Zina Garrison Academy serves children of all demographics by providing free tennis instruction, educational resources, health and wellness guidance, positive role models, and so much more. UrbanCraft believes that this program is a great resource for the children of Houston and will continue to support it.

Annually, UrbanCraft hosts the UrbanCraft Invitational Tennis Tournament which benefits the Zina Garrison Academy.

The Veterans Services Community Center

UrbanCraft is committed to helping our nation’s troops and veterans and is always looking for ways to serve them. UrbanCraft renovated the Veteran’s Services Community center by building and installing new cabinets in the activity room.

The Coming Home Project

When a beloved homeowner had been accidentally paralyzed, UrbanCraft desperately wanted to help. UrbanCraft took the liberty to remodel and reconfigure the homeowner’s 1950’s Bellaire home to better suit their needs.

The Joy School

Over two summers, UrbanCraft Custom Builders expanded the campus of the Joy School.

David Black is also on the board of galleryHOMELAND: a non-profit organization which actively promotes the rich, cultural arts that make Houston unique.
